Solar panel failures are rare. But they do occur and many serious solar module defects are difficult if not impossible to visually identify. At Rural Solar Restoration we use advanced aerial drones equipped with high quality thermal imaging cameras to quickly identify anomalies such as

hot spots, revers polarity, junction box failures, cracking, delamination, soiling, and Potential-Induced Degradation (PID).

If deeper investigation is required, we utilize advanced solar commissioning tools and processes to evaluate the problem safely and efficiently. Once all of the issues are throughly documented, we work with you to find the most cost-effective solution for restoring a site to its full potential. We leverage our extensive network of equipment suppliers to find replacement modules quickly or, if needed, identify like-for-like replacements that get your installation back to full capacity as quickly and efficiently as possible.
